A Little Background About the Company & Garth Janke
Portland Intellectual Property is the law office of Garth Janke, a registered patent attorney practicing patent, trademark, and copyright law for over 14 years. We provide high quality work and full service at reasonable rates.
Mr. Janke has a broad background in mechanical and electrical engineering, and physics. He has a Master's Degree from the University of California at Davis and a law degree from Stanford University. He has over 10 years experience as a practicing engineer with the Hewlett Packard Company. He contributes annually to a West Publication, "Advising Small Businesses," in which he is the author of Chapters on Patent and Copyright law, and in which he expands and updates a Chapter on Trademark law. He also contributes to the Oregon State Bar publication "Advising Oregon Businesses."
